Maicon Douglas Sisenando, known as Maicon (born July 26, 1981 in Criciuma) is a Brazilian football player, currently playing for Internazionale in Italy . He is a full-back/wing-back with the ability to play either side. He is known for his overlapping runs where his pace and dribbling are used effectively and he is considered one of the best right-back in the world. Maicon was named "Maicon Douglas " because his father alleged wanted to name him " Michael Douglas" but when going to register at the birth registration office his father was misunderstood and thus he was named "Maicon Douglas" instead.
