Didier Drogba, nicknamed ‘ Tito ’ by his friends and family, was born in 1978 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast . Drogba's magnificent ball handling and shot skills have achieved him to become one of the most remarkable strikers in European football.  Drogba’s incredible performance earned him a position in some Europe’s major clubs, playing for AC Milan Italian and Real Madrid . Didier Drogba spent his young years at Côte d'Ivoire, his home country. At the age of five he left for Brest, Brittany where he learnt professional football under the guidance of his uncle Michel Goba, who then was a professional footballer. Drogba spent three years with his uncle, living in Brest, Angoulême and Dunkirk, before returning home. In 1991 Drogba’s parents moved to France, first in Vannes then settled in Antony - Paris in 1993. Drogba then 15 year old lived with his cousin Olivier Tebily and had signed himself at a local club – Levallois. It was with Levallois where he sharpened his skills in football and improved to the level of a professional footballer.
