Tamworth Football Club are an English professional football club based in the town of Tamworth , Staffordshire . Nicknamed 'The Lambs', they are currently members of the Conference North . The club were formed in 1933 after the previous Tamworth club, Tamworth Castle, ceased to exist. They originally played at The Jolly Sailor Ground but after a year moved into The Lamb Ground .
