Unione Sportiva Città di Palermo, based in Palermo, Sicily is a football club that currently plays in Serie A. The club was originally formed as the Anglo Panormitan Athletic and Football Club in 1900 and has existed under different names until their existing denomination in 1987. The club plays its home games at Stadio Renzo Barbera which has a capacity of 37000 spectators. Though built in 1932, the stadium was renovated in the late 1980s.
