The Cameroon national football team was founded in 1959. The team that is nicknamed as Lions Indomptables is presently controlled by the Fédération Camerounaise de Football. Cameroon has been considered as the most successful teams. It was the first African team to reach quarterfinals of a World Cup, however lost the match against England in 1990.
