Nuri Sahin (born September 5, 1988 in Lüdenscheid, West Germany ) is a German-born Turkish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund . [edit] Borussia Dortmund On August 6, 2005, at the age of 16 years and 335 days, Sahin set a record by becoming the youngest player to have played in the Bundesliga, and became the youngest player to score in the Bundesliga on November 25, 2005 scoring against Nuremberg. [edit] Feyenoord On the July 5, 2007, Sahin was transferred to Feyenoord on a one-year loan agreement, where he was reunited with Bert van Marwijk, his former coach at Borussia Dortmund. [edit] International career He won the bronze ball prize at the 2005 U-17 World Cup in Peru after a wonderful tournament finishing in fourth place, and is also the youngest player to have played and scored for the Turkish national team, ironically scoring against Germany, the country of his birth.
