Should spurs have kept Darren Bent and got rid of Pav instead?

Pav is more talented in my opinion, but Bent is a better goal scorer. Then again Pav is not really a Premiership player, his attitude is too relaxed

Bent was never a Spurs type of player and i never felt he fitted in. Pav had a great partnership going with Defoe at the beginning of last year but then of course Arry brings back keane and Pav got sidelined. I like Pav but his confidence looks shot. Still don't like keane being club captain and his recent performances suggest he should be on the bench,.

"Still don't like keane being club captain and his recent performances suggest he should be on the bench,." Right on, Liverpool have ruined Keane for us.

Keane seems to be the type of player who excels against the weaker sides and fails to break down the better teams, as a striker. When he gets moved out to the left it gets worse he excels against no one. Crouch and Defoe should be first choice with Keane on the bench. By all accounts Pav is a technically better player than Bent but he's never had the chance other than cameos from the bench. So for me the real choice is who is better between keane and Pav - Keane for me bearing in mind Pav has never had a decent run.

Bent is like a big fish in a small pond in Sunderland but not probably in a team like Spurs.

hahahaha...and he missed the penalty. after a weak dive as well (it should never have been given). bent is a good player - agree with @Galacticos_II...small fish in a sea at spurs ;-) and saw that after the match, redknapp refused to take back the "my misses could have done better" jibe.
