Watch Spartacus Vengeance Episode 1 - Fugitivus Online. First of all, you need to know this information fans! Spartacus: Vengeance is a Starz television series advertised as the second season and sequel to Spartacus: Blood and Sand. It is scheduled to premiere on January 27, 2012. Its story follows Spartacus (played by Liam McIntyre, who replaces Andy Whitfield), after he and his fellow gladiators kill their master Batiatus and escape from his gladiatorial training school or ludus.

Cast members and characters who return from the first season include Lucy Lawless as Lucretia, Peter Mensah as Oenomaus, Manu Bennett as Crixus, Nick Tarabay as Ashur, Viva Bianca as Ilithyia, and Craig Parker as Gaius Claudius Glaber. Dustin Clare will also reprise his role as Gannicus from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, the prequel to Spartacus: Blood and Sand.

Fugitivus got the possible preview anyway! In the days after their escape from the ludus, Spartacus and Crixus command and train their troop of freed slaves and gladiators. Spartacus has thoughts only on vengeance; to kill Glaber and his wife as well as everyone they know, while Crixus is motivated with finding his lost love Naevia. Glaber, now Praetor in the Roman army, is commanded by his father-in-law to return to Capua and put down Spartacus. Illithyia, now pregnant, is unwilling to go with her husband, but obeys anyway. Meanwhile, Crixus receives information to seek Naevia in the south.

Spartacus sends Aurelia, wife of his beloved late friend Varro, north to reunite her with her son. Glaber and Ilithyia and their soldiers return to Capua and take up residence in the ludus and are surprised to find not everyone perished in the massacre. Lucretia yet lives, but her mind has deteriorated into madness and she remembers very little, to Illithyia's relief. Oenomaus (Doctore) remains estranged from Spartacus and Crixus on the sentiment of his lost honor.

But Doctore warns them of the strength of Glaber and the Romans. Battle ensues between Spartacus and a small troop of Romans led by Glaber in the town square, who have captured and mortally wounded Aurelia. Spartacus is assisted by Crixus and the Gladiators. Afterwards, Aurelia makes Spartacus promise to stay away from her son before dying. Spartacus agrees with Crixus that they should march south to look for Naevia, as well as seek to free all slaves who come into their path.
