Worrying sighns for Arsenal

William Gallas, Tomas Rosicky, Eduardo, Philippe Senderos, Mikael Silvestre and Fran Merida are all reportedly set to leave Arsenal, while Andre Arshavin has also expressed that he would love to make a move to Barcelona, and continuing talks of Fabregas also leaving for Barcelona, you have to start asking questions! Can Arsenal fill the gaps that these players are going to leave.

With Arsene Wenger only having about £45 m to spend on new players, you wonder who Arsene can bring in.

Rosicky and Eduardo in the last year or so not performing well they are not really that big a worry, but the departure of Arshavin and Gallas could be devistating for Arsenal, with Arsenal being short on depht in the atacking department, and a vulnerable defence, they could be the big losses for Arsenal.

The speculation around Fabregas and Barcelona is still going on, and even though he would be a big loss Arsenal have been talking about sighning Mikel Artetta from Everton, and a move to Barcelona for Fabregas will see Yaya Toure coming the other way, so those two players could fill the gap Fabregas would leave in the midfield.�

Arsene Wenger will have pressure on himself to get some good players sighn on the dotted line, and create a team that can not only challenge for the Premier Leuge, but Campions Leuge as well!

When will people stop believing "Paper Talk", it's sport's journalists putting round crap to justify there positions. Andre Arshavin has already stated he is not leaving! How many more times does Fabregas have to tell the world that he is an Arsenal player! Fran Merida may go, but I hope not! The same with Tomas Rosicky and Eduardo. As for the others, Senderos has never really gelled at Arsenal. Gallas and Silvestre are both coming to the end of their careers and are nowhere near in Sol Campbells class. So just stop rumour mongering it's doing Arsenal no good!!!! Come on you gooners, 2011 could be your year!!!!!!

Les I agree with you, but the fact is that Fabregas has in the last weak said that if he was to leave Arsenal that it would be for Barcelona and Arsene Wenger has always like the way Yaya Toure has aproached the game, I believe Fabregas will stay at Arsenal, but the question is how long will he stay if Arsenal do not improve and start winning some trophies. Arsenal is a club that should be winning at least 1 trophy in a season and be close to winning any other trophy they compete for, but that is just not happening! We need new players at the club, players that can win us the Premier Leuge and Champions Leuge, I do hope we can do it, but we are gona have to bring in new players if we want to achieve that!

Seriously, any real Arsenal fan would be totally used to this paper crap. We get it every year in the Summer. Arsenal supporters know this and ignore it. When you realise this you can consider yourself Arsenal Fans. Now carry on proving you're not by writing rubbish like OMG Cesc is going to Barcelona, yaaaaawn!!!! Johan - We all know Cesc is going to Barcelona one day, he has said so enough times. He want's to win trophies yes, but he knows he was just a couple of games away from winning the EPL. He knows the team comes up short because of injuries - he's a bright lad. You say Cesc needs to see the team improve or he's off, well it hasn't needed improving much when you consider Van Persie, Nasri, Walcott, Arshavin, Cesc himself and Gallas have missed big parts of the season. With a top class goalkeeper, a center half of Vermaelens calibre and another decent forward - what is there to improve? Cesc seriously knows that it's not the team or the Manager that is to blame, he knows it's all down to injuries and he won't be going to Barcelona because of our bad luck with injuries.

As we have heard, Cesc is Barcelona bound, but I do not think it will be this coming season. I believe that he will see at least another 2 seasons out of his 5 year contract. I really hope that the Arsenal board do not see pound/euro signs in front of their eyes and let him go. I believe that he will be and has been the central player that Arsene wants to build his team around. We need 3 or 4 signings, one recognised international class striker, one more attacking midfielder, one more holding midfielder and one central defender. Clichy and Sagna are good enough we need somebody to play alongside Vermaelen/Campbell!

I hope Barca let Yaya go and he can then play alongside Cesc in midfield for Arsenal.... We could have had him 3 or 4 seasons back for a song, but he went to Greece... He is the sort of player we need...!
