On this day 1996 Arsene Wenger started his first day as Arsenal Manager,I thought we had chosen him because his first name sounded like Arsenal-lol-I remember him managing Monaco because he gave debuts to Thierry Henry and David Trezeguet but that was about it.I remember thinking anyone would be better than the Manager at the time Bruce Rioch.,Well as they say "Your not Wrong"-lol-13 years later Arsene Wenger today becomes The Longest Serving Arsenal Manager,surpassing Mr.Chapman and Mr.Allison with 4,749 days in the Job.In those 13 years he has done The Double(win the league and F.A.Cup) 2 times. Became the only Manager to win the League without his Team being Defeated.He played a part in two off his Strikers(Ian Wright and Thierry Henry) breaking The Clubs Goalscoring record.He turned Arsenal's Academy and Training ground into one of the best in World(The current England Manager wants the F.A. to follow Wenger's Blueprint-lol).He oversaw the Move from Highbury to The Emirates Staduim and has help turn many Unknown Players into Superstars at a Price that is always Right-lol.Mr.Wenger,as a 28 year long Gunner,I SALUTE YOU.
