Marseille entertain AC Milan at the Vélodrome in France with the French side hoping to transfer their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 to the Champions League.

The Group C match sees Didier Deschamp's side, with new additions such as Lucho Gonzalez, Gabriel Heinze and Fernando Morientes, attempt to gain a head-start in a bit to qualify to the knockout stages of the tournament. Deschamps has been able to keep hold of key players, such as Stephane M’Bia and Mamadou Niang, both who attracted attention from other clubs and were linked with moves away during the summer.

Meanwhile, AC Milan will look to put a stop to their bad start to the season. The Italian giants have had a lackluster start to their domestic campaign and manager Leonardo has been unable to get his team to find consistency. The team's 0-0 stalemate against Livorno on Saturday is just another indication of the club's problems on the pitch, which were evident in their 4-0 thrashing by rivals Inter just over 2 weeks ago. The Brazilian manager will hope that his stars will come together for tonight's match and put a stop to the rot that has resulted in the disastrous start.

A quick check of the predictions entered on this site indicate that the Footbo community expects Milan to finally come good and claim some vital points in what has been touted as the "Group of Death" in this year's Champions League.
