Thierry Henry didn't exactly turn it on against (what were to be) his future employers, Barcelona, in the Champions League final of 2006, so why should he destroy Arsenal, the club he reputedly loves?

Well, Thierry's a consummate professional so despite his feelings for the Gunners, he will be doing his level best to make an impact.

But does Thierry still have what it takes to give us problems?

To be honest, any decent forwards cause us problems, so Henry still falls into that category surely. Lionel Messi is going to be the more difficult of the two to contain.

There was talk of Henry coming back to Arsenal last summer. Perhaps that old transfer rumour will raise its ugly head again now. The truth is Thierry's a legend, but almost certainly won't be doing a Sol Campbell and returning to us. Instead of 'us', it's the U.S. beckoning.
