Wayne Rooney
is Injured-Horror-The Rest of
England
Team is in Bits-Lampard can not contemplate Life on The Pitch without Wazza-lol.My Problem is that before any World Cup we as a nation pin our hopes on One Player to take us to Victory and usually that player gets Injured just b4 The World Cup is about to Begin. So i ask the Question If( When:)) Wayne Gets Injured do we have a Plan B????

I think the 'problems' could run deeper than just Rooney. England only have one way of playing, a variant of a 4-5-1, and whilst it has been suffice in qualification, it may not be so in the tournament next year. Can England alter themselves tactically? Since Euro 2008, Germany have added two genuine styles to their already default aggressive 4-4-2 so they can contend with most opponents, Italy have 3 formations they can use at any time, all that prevents them from working is Lippi refusing to call up the likes of Cassano/Pazzini. The players as well Fabio C is calling on to make the difference, may not be able to do so in the World Cup, players like Carlton Cole-Aghbonlahor-Milner-Young haven't been integrated into the team enough, they are not in the rhythm of the team. England better hope they take control of all games, and never fall behind or are tactically caught with their pants down, otherwise it will be hard to recover, there is loads of work to do.

Oh, and you don't win World Cups with players like Heskey, England need to ditch him asap.

@Patron - don't be dissin Crouchy! Agree with Stanley, and Capello could use tonight's game to experiment a little...it's not as if there is that much to lose.
