1) John Terry- Chelsea

He has his Chelsea club fighting for the title and it never hurts to have a figure like Terry in the middle of the defense.  With an explosive offense, Terry makes the Blues chances of winning the Premiership that much better.  The same goes for the Champions League too.  After all Terry won UEFA Defender of the Year for his efforts in last year’s tournament and this year it looks like the squad might be even stronger.  Terry deserves the top honor on any list of defenders despite the problems he has had with his personal life recently.  Read more...
