Arsenal vs Manchester United - Champions League Semi-Final - Utd Fan Preview

I am not a big blogger but I figured I needed to whip out the note-pad for this one.
Arsenal vs Manchester United
– and the only reason I put
Arsenal
first is because they are playing at home!
It’s obviously a massive game. Everybody knows that. But I wanted to give a little
Man Utd
preview of my own:
Arsenal
have got to win this game. Pretty straight forward. And they have been showing good form of late, and have been scoring plenty of goals too! However, with Ferdinand likely to be back and re-forming the strong partnership with Vidic, it should make for some interesting battles. Following his performance against
Boro
, I have some strong faith in
Jonny Evans
. So if Rio doesn't make it back, it's good to know that there's a solid stand-by and able deputy.
Rooney
is going to give Wenger that something extra to think about. Sure, an opposing manager knows that Rooney is a threat (just as is every Utd player), but the forward has been in sizzling form of late, even though he has been playing out on the left.
I would like to see
Park
in the starting eleven, even though he might be dropped to the substitute bench. The spritely player would provide that work ethic boost that he usually gives, and is always capable of sneaking in there with a goal or two.
If Park starts, then I would feel comfortable of throwing in the lazy Berbatov, who is one of the most capable players at deft touches, and has a superb assist and decent goal-scoring record.
My Starting XI:
(4-3-2-1) Van der Sar; O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Park,
Anderson
, Carrick;
Ronaldo
, Rooney; Berbatov.
Taking a 1-0 lead to the
Emirates
won't be easy, and even though the stadium is notorious for having a poor atmosphere, the Arsenal fans will be able to add some vocal pressure.
I can see Arsenal nicking a goal, maybe even going 1 goal up, but there is only going to be one winner, and I'm throwing my two cents down with a
1-2
prediction. Utd are just too classy!

Well i've got to credit United for their performance against Arsenal in the first leg. They completely outclassed their opponentsa dn should ahve won by a lot more. The fact that it is still only 1-0 will give the arsenal players a lot of belief and with the game at the Emirates, big players such as Fabregas and Walcott will find the confidence to overcome a strong United defence. I think with Evra injured, the makeshift leftback will have a hard time dealing with his pace and if the horse(adebayor) puts his shooting boots on, then i'm confident we'll win 2-0.

United to win. But I don't think Arsenal will be able to breach the defence too early on. They'll be too busy doing some defending of their own. It'll be pretty interesting if United go up first. Arsenal will then have no incentive whatsover committing more in defence and would rather push forward. And that's where I'm hoping to see some fireworks!

With the recent performance I have seen from Park, I can't disagree with you. Especially with his magnificent play against Chelsea in our 3-0 victory over the blues. Rooney showed he is very good at reading games with the first goalk he scored against Porto in Old Trafford. Man Utd have plenty of good players and right now they have the mental power to win. Arsenal, though, won't be playing like they did in the first leg. They have nothing to lose, so they will start the game attacking. This gives us a better opportunity to get close to their goal and score. I hope Man Utd will head to the final match.

@Mahdi Farahikia - Thanks for the comment! Park did it! So happy for him, he's such a great player and so underrated. It's only ours to lose now.
