Arsenal
After last nights performance as the
Emirates
one can say
Arsenal
played one of the best games of the season going forward, but if you go and look at the game, Arsenal struggled at the back! Dont get me wrong it was a good performance but on another day and againt a better team (we all do respect) will arsenal really have come away with a win??

It was one of their better games without Cesc. Usually without him they look terrible. But did a good job last night. Now Wenger says he would like to play Chelsea or Manchester in the quarters. Not sure whether he really feels that way or is just saying so.

its an intresting question....only your next game can answer it...........alex song played really well in the first half....porto's full back could do nothing against arshavin....and porto have struggled in their last 2 league games...but bendtner's hatrick is a shocking reply for his criticizers... and porto also had some good chances to break especially in the first half, which they wasted cheaply...

couldn't agree more with you, Jason. when Arsenal is weak at the back and without options for reinforcement, then all you can hope for is to attack more. when Bendtner scores a hattrick, you got a good chance. Arsenal must rely more on speed and passing, and force opponents to counter attack. drill defenders to be ready for this, while Wenger crosses his fingers. this offers ultimate excitement and expectations for neutrals. love watching their matches. would like to see Arsenal Bayern next

I agree, big problems at the back, and also at times I wish that Arsenal would take the foot off the pedal and just ease a game out. At 3-0, the game was as good as over, why chase more goals? Isn't that the best time to practice being compact and solid and not conceding? Isn't it the best time to also save energy for the next match? You cannot give your all for 95mins when you don't have to. Winning 5-0 doesn't win the cup, it just puts you through to the next round.

Stanley I cannot agree more!! Look Akhil had it spot on normally without Fabregas we struggle going forward and at times we look weak without him, I thought Nasri played a brilliant game in the place of Cesc, but I am nervous about our defence at the back Porto wasted a couple of good chances and if they had scored it would have been a different game! But thats that and Arsenal are through to the next round, and if we play the same way in the next round and improve our defence I can say that Arsenal will stand a very good chance of winning who ever we play in the next round!
