Look, let's get one thing straight right off the top.  I hate Barcelona.  I have hated Barcelona from the moment that Juliano Belletti scored that goal in the 2006 Champions League final.  I became a Real Madrid fan partially because it meant that I could hate Barcelona.  My hatred of Barcelona grew when they took my beloved Thierry away from us.  I may like individual players that they have (Xavi, Andrés, Carles, Lionel) but I will always hate Barcelona.

But at this exact moment, I couldn't be happier that Barcelona won the Champions League final.  And this is for Thierry.

He left us because he wanted to win this trophy, and now he has done it.  I'm thrilled for him.  Couldn't be happier.

Now that he's won it, I can resume my peaceful and wonderful loathing of that team.  It's felt dirty today wanting them to win.

Appriciated, it's tough when a team beats 'your' team, but do they have the same arrogance and at times, cheating instincts as Manchester United? I think not. Barca have graced every blade of grass they have played on this year. After one Champions League final defeat, Henry's transfer and clearly having a destinct hatred for Barca, Real Madrid!? Are you related somewhere down the line to Franco?
